The City of Riverside has initiated the process to update the Comprehensive Land Use Plan, last updated in 2005.   The new plan will guide development, growth, and improvements for the City over the next 10-plus years.

We encourage and invite the Riverside Community and non-residents to participate in the initial planning stages.  Community feedback, ideas, and comments are an essential part of the comprehensible plan and you can share your thoughts online using two tools, a brief online survey and the online interactive map allows you to comment on specific locations within Riverside.

Additional information can be found on the City website.

What is a Comprehensive Plan?

A comprehensive plan is an opportunity to pause, take stock, and develop a clear road map for community growth and investment.  Comprehensive planning process is a community-based initiative which collects key actions (projects, policies, and programs) that are aligned with community’s vision. This will be around a year-long process starting with public engagement and ending with City Council adoption.
